Meet the Designer Arik Levy with Olson and Baker

Arik Levy (born 1963) is a designer, technician, artist, photographer, filmmaker: his skills are multidisciplinary and his work can be seen in prestigious galleries and museums worldwide. Arik is best known for his furniture design, installations and limited editions. Hailing originally from Israel, he moved to Europe in 1988. following studies in Industrial design at the art centre Europe in Switzerland where he gained a distinction in 1991, Levy’s first international success was winning the Seiko Epson Inc. competition. After a stint in Japan, Arik returned to Europe where he contributed his artistry to contemporary dance and opera by way of set design. the creation of his firm with his associate Pippo Lionni, meant a foray back to his first love, art and industrial design. Arik currently works in Paris with his 20strong team of designers forming design under Levy and Lionni’s vision, the firm also produces brand identities, packaging, exhibition and interior design…..respected for his furniture and light designs on all continents, Arik Levy continues to contribute substantially to our interior and exterior milieu, his work including public sculpture, as well as environments that can be adapted for multi-use.
