The Bolia Lucén Table Lamp draws inspiration from classic paper lanterns, pairing oak details and a fabric shade to create a soft, inviting light for desks and bedside tables.
Bolia Lucén Table Lamp Design
The Bolia Lucén Table Lamp takes inspiration from classic paper lanterns, reinterpreted through Scandinavian design. Created by Ferriani Sbolgi, the lamp combines a lightweight metal frame, oak rings, and a fabric shade to create a distinctive silhouette that works beautifully in bedrooms, living spaces, and reading corners.
Woven Fabric Shade
The hand-woven fabric shade filters light into a warm, diffused glow. Whether used as a bedside lamp, desk lamp, or accent light, the Bolia Lucén Table Lamp creates comfortable ambient lighting without harsh glare. The woven texture also adds depth and detail to the design when illuminated.
Oak Details and Craftsmanship
Natural oak accents frame the shade and bring warmth to the design. Combined with the fabric construction, these materials reflect the Japandi influence behind The Bolia Lucén Table Lamp, pairing Scandinavian simplicity with references to traditional lantern making.
Ambient Lighting for Everyday Use
The Bolia Lucén Table Lamp is sized for desks, side tables, shelves, and bedside tables. It provides practical lighting throughout the home. Its compact footprint makes it easy to place where additional light is needed, while the soft glow creates a welcoming atmosphere from morning through evening.

Oiled Solid Wood
Care Instructions:
– Wipe with a damp cloth using mild soap.
– Dry immediately to avoid spotting.
– Re-oil periodically to maintain the wood’s finish.
– Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
– Avoid placing items that trap moisture directly on the surface.
– Keep away from radiators and avoid sudden temperature changes to help prevent potential issues with the wood.
Why It Matters:
Oiled wood is naturally beautiful but requires consistent care to retain its colour and texture. Expect gradual changes in tone, which contribute to the wood’s unique aesthetic.
Woven Fabric
Care Instructions:
– Dust regularly using a soft microfiber cloth, feather duster, or vacuum with a brush attachment.
– Ensure the light is switched off and cool before cleaning.
– Spot clean gently with a lightly damp cloth if needed; avoid saturating the fabric.
– Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
– Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity to maintain the fabric’s appearance and structure.
Why It Matters:
Woven fabric shades can accumulate dust and may be sensitive to moisture and harsh cleaning products. Routine dusting and gentle care help preserve the material’s texture, appearance, and light-filtering qualities, ensuring the fixture remains beautiful and functional over time.
