Renowned as one of Hans J. Wegner of Carl Hansen’s most ground-breaking pieces, the CH07’s dramatic form is sure to catch eyes. Originally designed in 1963, this piece is testimony that Wegner was way ahead of his time.

The distinct shell-shaped form of the chair offers a striking presence and a comfortable relaxed posture. When it originally released in 1963, its somewhat controversial aesthetic divided opinion, and sales were poor. Rereleased in 1998, the CH07 immediately became a staple Carl Hansen piece, winning several design awards.

A clean and wet towel should be used to wipe the surface of any product that is exposed to ordinary or corrosive liquid within 10 minutes. A piece of dry cloth should then be applied to absorb the residual moisture. Please try not to apply a detergent with a high concentration of alcohol or a bleaching effect to clean household products. If you have no alternative, you must wipe the detergent off immediately after cleaning to remove corrosive liquid residue.
