Inner steel frame enforced with hardwood
Seat undercarriage made with nozag springs
Inner frame upholstered with CMHR or HR foam
Seat and back cushions have a foam core wrapped in a sectional inner containing feather and foam

Leather cushions have hessian backing
A clean and wet towel should be used to wipe the surface of any product that is exposed to ordinary or corrosive liquid within 10 minutes. A piece of dry cloth should then be applied to absorb the residual moisture. Please try not to apply a detergent with a high concentration of alcohol or a bleaching effect to clean household products. If you have no alternative, you must wipe the detergent off immediately after cleaning to remove corrosive liquid residue.

The Calmo is a relatively low sofa, with a seat height of 41cm. Complementing its modern aesthetic, the low back seat allows for a more spacious environment surrounding the sofa.
Is the Fredericia Calmo Sofa included with cushions?
The Calmo Sofa includes the main cushions integral to the sofa, however, the smaller scatter cushions pictured are not. The matching scatter cushions featured on some of the images are purchasable separately.

Portuguese-born, London-based designer Hugo Passos designs everyday objects that are familiar and enjoyable, both in form and use. Passos’ work is inspired by the designer’s ongoing interest in the human scale of everyday objects.
Without disregarding the artistic potential of design, Passos stays true to his view that designs must first and foremost serve their purpose and “do what they’re supposed to”. While paying great attention to the materials, structure and ergonomics that influence the use and final synthesis of the design, his approach resonates deeply with Fredericia’s core design values.
