Mogensen designed the classic Fredericia Hunting Lounge Chair in 1950. A feature of the distinctive and unusual design was the seat’s low height – the front edge being only 28cm from the ground.
The chair, with its leather seat and back slotted into a wooden frame. has a rustic, informal look, and was created for an exhibition of the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild with the theme “The Hunting Lodge”. The frame is made of oak and, like the leather seat and back, can be a natural in colour or black.
Height: 67cm x Width: 70.5cm x Depth: 87cm (Seat Height: 28cm)
Materials & Finishes
