The Caravaggio Read Wall Lamp is a functional piece that works beautifully in all kinds of decors. The humble shaped shade embodies the off-the-wall style and forward-thinking of modern Danish design.

Based on the well-known Caravaggio shape, Cecilie Manz designs a wall lamp that is elegant and above all practical. The classic shade tilts on a flexible tube that makes it possible to angle and direct the light. Giving off a warm, diffused light, the neutral colouring of the piece makes it possible to blend effortlessly into its habitat.

Cecilie Manz was born in the Odsherred region of Denmark. As the child of parents occupied with art and design, designing always formed a natural part of her life. She chose design as her living when she began studying at the Danish School of Design in 1992. Her great interest for function and conceptualization took her further as an exchange student to Helsinki where she attended the Finnish University of Art and Design.
