Designed by Jean-Louis Domecq in 1953, the Loft Wall Lamp with Two Arm is a universal task light ideal for a multitude of purposes. Mid-century industrial style meets modern design.
Placed over a work space, a picture frame or a bed, Jieldé’s Loft Lamp combines practicality and beautiful design. Another design classic dating back to the 1950’s industrial style, Domecq would be proud to see his work still in production some sixty years later.

French industrial designer Jean-Louis Domecq is known for his Jieldé lamps, which are recognized today as an icon of the French industrial arts. Much like its earlier counterpart, the Anglepoise, Jieldé lamps have played an instrumental role in popularizing the “industrial style” in domestic spaces.
Jielde is a team of mechanics based in France. These metal casters and painters all work together to create Jean Louis Domecq’s original Jieldé lamp designed in1949; named so from the initials of his name J,L and D.
