Care Instructions: We strongly recommend professional cleaning for our products. Regular turning of cushions will greatly help to maintain the appearance of the fabric, as will frequent hoovering with a handheld vacuum cleaner. All fabrics will age and wear during use.
Please note: Over time, all textured or piled fabrics may flatten, and pile may distort; this is unavoidable. Flatweaves may pill or bobble, although these may remove themselves over a short period of time, or a ‘De-fuzzer’ can be used. Any fabric may crease, linen especially. Do not wash, bleach, tumble dry or iron. Dry Clean only.

Olson and Baker – Velvet (100% PL)
Care Instructions: We strongly recommend professional cleaning for our products. Regular turning of cushions will greatly help to maintain the appearance of the fabric, as will frequent hoovering with a handheld vacuum cleaner. EasyClean—it repels water-based liquids. Spills ‘bead’ on the surface rather than being immediately absorbed, giving more time to blot the liquid to minimise or eliminate any staining and save your furnishings. All fabrics will age and wear during use.
Please note: Over time, all textured or piled fabrics may flatten and pile may distort; this is unavoidable. Flatweaves may pill or bobble, although these may remove themselves over a short period of time or a ‘De-fuzzer’ can be used. Do not wash, bleach, tumble dry or iron. Dry Clean only.

  2. Stools with arms are generally more comfortable and take the weight off of your shoulders. They will allow you to relax while entertaining friends or family. Remember, arms do make the stool wider and you should always check that you have enough room.

  4. Yes, our luxurious bar stool collection is handmade by a small team of master carpenters, upholsterers and seamstresses. Together they bring a combined experience of over 100 years to the table. This Yorkshire-based workshop meets the highest possible standards of work you can expect at this high level of manufacture.
  5. What wood finishes are available on this luxury bar stool with arms and backrest?
  6. The wood legs on the Huxley Bar Stool is available in black ash, light oak or walnut stain. Please contact us to discuss even more finishes or sample matching.
  7. Is the seat height of the Huxley Bar Stool with Arms suitable for a commercial bar or hotel reception?
  8. Keep in mind you need 25-30cm (9.8-12in) between the seat and the underneath of the bar. Bar stool seats are normally 56-71cm (22-28in) high and a standard bar stool seat is between 71-81cm (28-32in).
