Softline City Chair & Single Sofa Bed is a compact chair bed designed by Stine Engelbrechtsen in 2006. It offers a relaxing seat that transforms into a practical sleeping space for guests and smaller rooms.
Eight Positions, Endless Relaxation
City brings adaptable comfort through eight backrest positions and a choice of colours and fabrics. Its clean design allows the chair bed to shift easily between daytime relaxation and overnight use with ease.
Danish Craftsmanship Beneath The Covers
Made by SOFTLINE in Denmark, the City features upholstery crafted by hand using Scandinavian traditions. Removable covers can be dry cleaned, while extra covers allow future fabric or colour updates too.
Smart Sleeping For Smaller Spaces
Chair beds for adults need to balance comfort and space, and City achieves this with a functional design. It creates a dedicated resting area without requiring separate guest furniture in smaller homes.

Care Instructions:
– For regular cleaning, vacuum upholstery with a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
– Spot clean stains with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid soaking the fabric to prevent water damage.
– If removable, machine wash covers according to the care label. Use cold water and a gentle detergent.
– Air dry completely before reusing. For non-removable covers, blot excess moisture and let air dry.
– Iron removable covers on a low to medium heat setting while slightly damp. Use a pressing cloth.
– Store in a dry, cool place and avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading. Use protective covers for long-term storage.

Care Instructions:
– Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
– Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution when required, then dry thoroughly.
– Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads and harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
– Clean spills promptly to help prevent marks or staining.
– Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture or humid environments.
