The Reflect Table Lamp is a testament to designer Verner Pantons eye for creativity and experimentation when manipulating light. A beam of light shines upwards from its tubular base, with the shade reflecting a warm ambient glow onto its surroundings.

Defined by its unique asymmetrical shape, the pieces quirky aesthetic make it an interesting addition to any living space. Originally designed in 1980, the timeless piece reflects the eras aptitude for style and modernism, with its timeless design looking relevant 40 years onwards. As with most of his pieces, the Reflect's elegant design promises to be a talking point of its surroundings.

Should a bedside table lamp be higher or lower than the headboard?

Generally, always the same or lower than the headboard. The two should strike a nice symmetry. A table lamp's light beam should travel below your shoulders (whilst sat up in bed) so there is no glare. Also, consider that the lamp's height should never be much more than the bedside table's height.

What type of lamp is best for bedroom?

Table lights with good quality diffusers that soften light effectively are a must. Not only this but all lights in the bedroom should have a similar hue/temperature to them. Generally warmer toned bulbs and diffusers are better to create a sense of cosiness. Approximately 400-600 lumens provide a suitable level of light for reading and settling yourself down, ready to sleep.

What is the Verpan Reflect Table Lamp made from?

Verpan manufactures the Verner Panton's Reflect Table Lamp using mainly steel. The finish applied to the steel is a high-end power-coating finish. Powder coating provides a protective barrier that helps prevent corrosion, it is also chip, scratch and crack resistant.

What inspired Panton in designing the Reflect Table Lamp?

Panton designed the Reflect Table Light in the 1980's. Inspired by the fashion and aesthetics of the period, Reflect boasts bold red and grey in circular forms.

How does the Verpan Reflect Light work?

Reflect disperses light by casting light upwards from its tubular base. Light travels up hitting the slanted circular shade, and from here it lights its environment with a soft beautiful glow.
