Elegantly simplistic, the Series 430 Chair embodies hallmark traits of excellent Scandinavian design; sophisticated, comfortable and practical. Designed by the iconic Verner Panton in 1967, this piece is evidence that simple Scandinavian design is timeless.
Its cylindrical padded base sits on a robust metal frame, with upright legs that allow stacking for easy storage. The arching backrest gracefully wraps around the body, delivering a comfortable sitting position. The Series 430's understated yet characterful design make it adaptable for a wide variety of settings.

Verner Panton
Verner Panton is a Danish designer with a playful range of furniture and lighting produced by Verpan. Panton studied at Odense Technical College before studying architecture the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He worked in the architectural firm of Arne Jacobsen and founded an independent studio for architecture and design in 1955. His designs went on to achieve global fame with pieces such as the Panton Chair.
