Mogens Holmriis

This passionate ‘wood’ man was born in Bjerringbro, Denmark in 1955, qualified as a cabinetmaker in 1974 and as an architect from the School of Architecture in Aarhus, Denmark, in 1985. As head of design at Skagerak he left a strong imprint on a whole string of popular furniture designs. Mogens Holmriis has always had a love of wood and a capacity to gain inspiration from the diversity of life.
