The Korallie Wall Jewl is part of Iittala’s beautiful 8 piece Aarre collection, designed by Anu Penttinen in 2015.
Every piece in the Aarre collection is mouth blown and therefore unique with a glass blower’s touch. Aarre wall jewels are easy to assemble on the wall and hold up to 5kg of weight. Packed in beautiful round packaging, they are the perfect gift for someone special.
Materials & Finishes
For glass vases we recommend hand washing. If there are stubborn stains on your flower vase, soak the vase in 1dl laundry detergent to one liter of water. Do not scrub, as scouring powder or abrasive scrubbing pads scratch and spoil the surface.
The so-called burning lens phenomenon may damage objects and surfaces in the vicinity of the glass object. To avoid this, do not leave a lens-shaped thick glass object or vase filled with water in direct sunlight.

Anu Penttinen knows her glass, as it is her medium of choice as an artist and she has a studio at the Nuutajirvi Glass Village. She is a graduate of the University of Art and Design Helsinki, and her art reflects her interest in the phenomena and details of the urban environment. Maps, city streets, and transport moving from place to place and location to location have always fascinated her:
