Leopoldo Millet i Corsini, born in 1926 in Barcelona, Spain, founded his own studio after studying architecture and collaborated with his wife, Helena Corsini. Jordi Ruiz Millet, born in 1963, joined forces with Leopoldo to establish the renowned Corsini and Ruiz Millet Studio in 1992, after studying architecture at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.

Their designs are celebrated for their contemporary aesthetic and functionality, with a minimalist approach and clean lines that showcase their dedication to modernist design principles. Their iconic “M1” chair exemplifies their design philosophy, as it is a flowing and ergonomic seating solution.

Corsini and Ruiz Millet have collaborated with renowned companies such as Gubi, Alessi, and Santa & Cole, with whom they have created the iconic “Pedrera” series. This series includes the celebrated “Pedrera” table and floor lamps, known for their sculptural form and diffused light from a perforated metal shade. They also designed the elegant and minimalist “Tonale” collection with Alessi, reflecting their keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.
