The Okinami High Bar Stool was created for the Oki-Nami Japanese restaurant in Brighton, south of England and designed by Nazanin Kamali in 2008.
The brief was to create contemporary tables, chairs and stools that reflected the craftsmanship, proportion and attention to detail found in Japanese creative industries, it also needed to be suitably comfortable and durable enough for its intended restaurant environment.
Materials & Finishes
Solid Oak or Walnut frame with a multi-layered foam seat pad, upholstered in premium leather.
Use a dampened, soft, non-abrasive, lint-free colourless cloth to wipe the entire surface of your wood, moving in the direction of the grain.
Dry the wood using a second non-abrasive cloth. Remember to wipe in the direction of the wood grain.
You do not need to polish the wood as part of your regular maintenance, but polishing can restore the wood’s natural shine if it begins to look dull.
Never use wax-based polish or ammonia-based cleaning products on your wood.
