The Elizabeth Lounge Chair, known as the Model U56, acquired its royal name after Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip purchased two during a 1958 visit to Denmark. The exquisitely designed chair embodies the sophisticated allure of Danish Modern furniture.

Made with kiln-dried FSC-certified hardwood and plywood, the cosy and ergonomic chair is built to last. Its sledge-like frame provides structural integrity and ergonomic comfort, while the high-density foam and plywood ensure long-lasting, comfortable seating.

The Elizabeth Lounge Chair stands as a prime example of Danish Modern design, with its sculpted armrests, leather upholstery, and sleigh-like back. The CNC-carved wooden parts are polished and oiled by hand for a silk-smooth finish, and the chair is available in oak or walnut, with different upholstery options.
