– Remove scuff marks with an eraser or soft, oil-dampened cleaning sponge
– Remove liquids carefully with a soft, oil-dampened sponge and treat with oil if necessary
– Repair dents and scratches by raising wood fibers with lukewarm water, sanding, and treating with oil
